Launch of new recruitment service

The Didasko Group has announced the expansion of its services with the launch of a new company called Didasko People Solutions.

Didasko People Solutions will complement Didasko’s existing services in the Learning and Development sector.

Mananging Director Andrew Horton said, "A critical issue facing many of our clients today is their ability to find quality staff without a long and costly recruitment cycle.

We see this as a natural progression from our 10 year history in the learning and development space and Didasko People Solutions has really evolved through addressing client need.

Our company is already significantly involved in both pre employment and post employment training and Didasko People Solutions allows us to join the dots."

With a niche market focus on the service industry sectors, Didasko People Solutions will recruit for permanent and part time positions from base and entry level positions to specialised, middle management and executive positions. The business model will be different to other recruitment models to ensure more flexibility and speed to recruit the right match of motivated career-oriented candidates.

We invite you to talk with our Didasko People Solutions General Manager, Chris Curtis, to discuss the personnel solutions for your organisation. Call (03) 9573 3900 for a complimentary visit at your office to identify the best people solutions to keep your business moving forward.

Bakers Delight serves over 2.5 million people each day and according to Roy Morgan Research, holds a 15.6 per cent share of a $2.36b market in Australia and a 9.4 per cent share of a $600m market in New Zealand, with figures still on the rise.

Bakers Delight recently rolled out an equal opportunity training program in all of its Company-owned stores, using Didasko Learning Resources EO educational resource.

The 40-screen multimedia course is delivered online via the company intranet/extranet. The informative and engaging e-learning program covers equal opportunity laws and guidelines and their application in the workplace.

Feedback & features

So far 300 Bakers Delight employees have completed the e-learning course and comments have been very positive. The course features a multiple choice test at the end of the program to assess and validate the learner’s knowledge. Statistics shows that around 80% of users pass the test on the first go, with the remainder successfully completing the program on the second.

At Didasko we believe that an effective induction program is essential to ensure staff settle in well during that critical initial period.

An engaging induction breeds confident staff that assimilate faster and contribute more effectively right from Day 1.

We design multimedia induction programs that staff can access from their desks at their own pace during the first few days to weeks in their new roles.

We aim to create resources that inspire and motivate new staff and provide a springboard into their new job right from the first day.

induction

Our ENGAGING and LIVELY induction programs can:

• Capture the spirit of your company culture

• Review and analyse your core business

• Present the personalities of your people

• Outline your in-house policies and procedures

Our multimedia inductions when integrated with your mentoring process
will send a positive message to your new staff and assist them in contributing
